This Sunday, September 16th, is our next clean up day. We are a 100% community/volunteer-run space. That means that the condition and cleanliness of the dog run is up to us.
We will plan to start at 8:00 and will work till ~2pm. Please come for as long as you are able to help — every little bit of shared effort makes a big difference! We will have water and snacks for volunteers, but please feel free to bring whatever you need: work gloves, tough shoes, good attitude.
We ask that you leave your dogs at home during this time as the gates and fencing will be open and there will be shovels, rakes, and other tools that may frighten or harm a curious K-9 friend.

The Dog Run at Saint Nicholas Park introduces a new logo and newsletter!
INTRODUCING OUR NEW LOOK
We are thrilled to announce a new logo for the dog run!
We wish to provide a more polished presence for you, our patrons, so you will feel more ownership and pride in our amazing (and sometimes dusty) dog run.We also hope this will help give our space an identity that everyone will feel a part of. As our run is 100% community + volunteer-run, it is our hope to be more visible and understood as a separate entity from the NYC Parks Department.
One of our own, Tyler Fields (Brixton’s dad), designed our logo. He is working to have multiple variations to represent the various breeds and colors of all our furry friends. Today, we are launching with Dalmatian and Fawn.
If you would like to submit a coloring that represents your dog we would love to feature it in a future newsletter and even post it at the run! When you’re done you may submit your creation here.
