St. Nicholas Park “Ollie’s Playground” Chance to Win Participatory Budget Funding, But Need Your Vote!

We are excited to announce the Arlington “Ollie” Edinboro Playground in St. Nicholas Park at 140th Street has made the list of projects to be considered for funding through the Participatory Budget process. This is just the beginning, however.  Your vote is needed for this project to win.  There are 11 projects overall and the ones in each category with the most votes will be forwarded to City Council for funding consideration. There are two ways to vote:

-Online polling opens on Sunday, March 31st.  The voting period is March 30th to April  7th. #PBNYC Voting runs this Saturday 3/30 to Sunday 4/7. Find your @PB_NYC voting site & pledge to vote! http://council.nyc.gov/PB
-Locate your polling station and vote on spot.  There will be a polling station set-up on Sunday, March 31st in Ollie’s Playground from 3pm – 6pm.  We encourage you to stop by and show your support with your vote.  A vote for Ollie’s Playground is a vote for a safe and healthy playground for the many kids & families who frequent the park.

We also invite you to view all the projects on April 2 at the State Office Building at a presentation sponsored by Council Member Bill Perkins.
