Pen and Pistol: Hamilton/Burr Duel Anniversary at Hamilton Grange, Sat. July 13th

Next Saturday, July 13th the Hamilton Grange celebrates the 209th Anniversary of the duel between Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr. This duel cost Hamilton his young life. Come to the Grange for a reading from the letters leading up to this historic duel by Park Ranger performers.

This event will be remembered at Hamilton Grange National Memorial on Saturday, July 13 at 10 a.m. The event is free to the public. Park Rangers will perform dramatic readings from the letters between Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr that led up to the infamous exchange, allowing visitors to travel back to 1804.

St. Nick’s Dog Run Coffee Bark This Saturday, July 6th 9am-11am

Our July Coffee Bark is scheduled for this Saturday, July 6th from 9am-11am at St. Nick’s Dog Run. Come to the Dog Run and celebrate Spring with free coffee and donuts while helping woodchip the park and clean the area. Socialize with fellow dog owners and discuss issues and ideas on concerning St. Nicholas Park and St. Nick’s Dog Run.

Our Coffee Barks take place the first Saturday of every month from 9am-11am at the St. Nick’s Dog Run.

The St. Nick’s Dog Run is located in the middle of St. Nicholas Park between 136th and 137th streets. If you are interested in volunteering for the Coffee Bark, contact us at friends@stnicholaspark.org
