The Blossom of Fiber Art is a two-day public art exhibition that features the work of fiber and needle artist who construction works through the mediums of crochet, knit, felting, quilting and weaving. The Blossom of Fiber Art will utilize the natural landscape of Harlem’s St.Nicholas Park to display fiber soft sculptured floral arrangements and or plant life nested in Terracotta pots. With St. Nicholas’ Park as the back drop, the work of fiber art constructionist will continue a cycle of positive creativity and engage the community in the need to preserve through cultural arts and documentation.

On Friday a piano was delivered into St. Nicholas Park. It is open to anyone to take a seat at the bench and start playing!
The piano will remain for a few weeks in the plaza and will be covered in plastic when raining. Check out other areas where pianos are placed by going to http://www.streetpianos.com/
